Get it Together - An Exploration of Unique Clasping and Closure Methods for Jewelers
October 2019 Workshop
Suzanne Williams
Website: suzannewilliamsjewelry.com
Suzanne Williams visited St. Louis in October for a three day workshop. The students had their hands full working their way through the six kits that would result in six jewelry closures. Each closure was different, very clever and an artful way to bring a necklace or bracelet together. The primary objective was to show how alternative clasps and closures can go beyond the out-of-sight, simple hook. It was an introduction for the students to make their closures a robust part of the overall design in their jewelry pieces.
