Zoom Studio Tour

August 5, 2020 at 5:30 p.m.

Kelly Miller, MM's current Secretary and artist extraordinaire, is opening her studio to all of us on Zoom. She will show us around using her phone camera and then sit down for a Q&A. Visit zoom.us and create your account so you can join in. Catherine Geyer, our President, will be sending out some reminders before the meeting with a code and password to join the meetup. We are looking forward to seeing members from near and far.  It is fun to see everyone's face and check in with friends. The Studio Tour for July was a great success and we had a great turn out. Put this on your calendar and join in.

We are sad to announce the cancellation of

Midwest Metalsmiths Art Show

October 16 & 17, 2020

Congregational Church Webster Groves

Artist have been refunded their booth fees.

Please visit our Gallery Page to view our

member's work. Many of our members have

lost all of their shows and therefore their

income for 2020. If you need a gift or something

special for yourself our artists will be glad to

hear from you and help you.

Midwest Metalsmith members would

appreciate your support.

All 2020 Workshops have been cancelled.

The Barbara Minor Workshop has been rescheduled  to March 4, 5, 6, & 7, 2021. If anyone signed up for this workshop would like a refund, please contact Wendy Walsh. The remainder of the scheduled workshops have been cancelled. We are in talks with those instructors for dates in 2021.

No physical meetings scheduled at this time.

Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic  we have no meetings scheduled throughout 2020. We hold a majority of our meetings at Maryville University. Because Maryville University is now shut down, as are all schools, they are not scheduling any events (ours or anyone's meetings) at the school. We are looking at having a "get together" as soon as we are able and restaurant type facilities are up and running. Until then stay distant, stay well, and we will be communicating any changes for gatherings as we are able. Have fun at the workbench.

2020 Workshops

Cancelled or Moved

Four to six workshops featuring local and nationally known artists are offered throughout the year. Visiting artists share their expertise as well as amazing tips and techniques with our members.
